Excitement is mounting and plans are well on track for another stellar Gauteng Motor Fest.
The City of Ekurhuleni, as official host city, is thrilled to welcome back the Gauteng Motor Fest (GMF) which will take over The Rock Raceway in Brakpan this weekend (July 24 – 26). The popular annual auto-tainment show is the 12th of its kind and this is the second year it is hosted at The Rock Raceway.
“The Gauteng Motor Fest is a great initiative to position the City of Ekurhuleni as the best sport tourism destination within the Gauteng City Region,” says Ekurhuleni Executive Mayor Cllr Mondli Gungubele.
Sugen Pillay, commercial director of Thebe Reed Exhibitions who are organising the event echoes this, commenting “We are proud to be associated with the City of Ekurhuleni for the second year as Host City partner of the Gauteng Motor Fest.
“We believe this partnership positions the City as a destination capable of hosting major events and this year’s event promises to be even more exciting with activities catering for the whole family.”
The Track action for the coming weekend includes: SupaDrift Series Round 5, Freestyle MotoX Stunts, GoKart Demo Races, XDL Bike Stunts, Legends Car Stunts, NSF100 Honda Racing, and Drag Racing along with automotive exhibitors and a host of kiddies activities.
