2020 AIPC Annual Conference

AIPC – the International Association of Convention Centres – is the industry association for professional convention and exhibition centre managers world wide.
The 2020 AIPC Annual Conference will be the perfect place for this community to come together – whether on site AT Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild in Paris or virtually, as the event will be a hybrid one.
The theme of this year’s edition is “RE-Generation” and the focus will be on the future of organised events.
On the first day, the topics will explore different angles of themes such as the role of technology, what future-ready venues look like, the place of the venue in the overall event ecosystem, and (most importantly) the customers’ point of view.
On the second day, representatives from UFI, ICCA and AIPC will explain how these three global associations are dealing with the new normal and share important lessons they have learned. This will be followed by representatives from three key stakeholders talking about different themes related to the event ecosystem such as connectivity, accommodation and destination management, and how they had to adapt during the pandemic and what they learned from this.
