    Women in MICE Awards 2026 – Nomination Terms & Conditions

    By submitting a nomination for the Women in MICE Awards 2026, all nominees and nominators agree to the following terms and conditions:

    1. Eligibility & Entry Requirements
    • Nominations are open to individuals who are actively working within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry.
    • Nominees must meet the specific criteria relevant to the category they are being entered into, as outlined in the official category descriptions.
    • Nominations may be submitted by the individual themselves or by a third party.
    1. Supporting Documentation (Mandatory)

    To ensure a fair and credible judging process, all nominees must be able to provide supporting documentation upon request, including but not limited to:

    • A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    • Relevant qualifications and certifications
    • Proof of projects, work, or achievements referenced in the nomination
    • Supporting materials such as portfolios, case studies, testimonials, or media coverage (where applicable)

    Failure to provide sufficient supporting documentation may result in disqualification.

    1. Accuracy of Information
    • All information submitted must be true, accurate, and verifiable.
    • The Women in MICE Awards reserves the right to validate all submitted information.
    • Any false, misleading, or incomplete information may lead to immediate disqualification.
    1. Judging Process
    • All nominations will be reviewed by an independent panel of industry judges.
    • Judging decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding outcomes.
    • Judges may request additional information or clarification from nominees where necessary.
    1. Consent & Use of Information
    • By submitting a nomination, nominees consent to their information being used for:
      • Judging purposes
      • Event promotion and marketing
      • Publication across Women in MICE and affiliated media platforms (including Meetings magazine and theplannerguru.co.za)
    1. Deadlines & Timelines
    • Nominations open on 15 April 2026 and close on 1 July 2026.
    • All required supporting documentation must be submitted within the specified timeframe communicated by the organisers.
    • Late or incomplete submissions may not be considered.
    1. Disqualification

    The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any nominee who:

    • Fails to meet eligibility criteria
    • Does not provide required supporting documentation
    • Provides false or misleading information
    • Engages in conduct that may bring the awards into disrepute
    1. General
    • The Women in MICE Awards organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
    • Participation in the awards constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
