InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has launched the first in its series of Insider Guides with a glossy manual on Travelling in Style, helping guests to stay glamorous and polished while on their trips.
The Insider Guide to Travelling in Style draws on InterContinental expertise as well as the advice of local designers, personal shoppers and fashion bloggers, who provide insights and tips that take into consideration climates and cultural nuances when travelling. The Guide will be available in four unique versions for guests in InterContinental hotels across the Middle East, Australia, South Africa, and South East Asia.
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts have been symbols of style and glamour for more than 65 years, welcoming celebrities, heads of state, high society and VIPs. Inspired by the golden age of travel, the Insider Guide to Travelling in Style, offers ideas for modern-day travellers in South Africa, to infuse their on-the-road wardrobe with classic style and a hint of local flavour, whether they are travelling for business or leisure.
Bruce Ryde, director: brand management of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts commented: “InterContinental has always been a pioneer and for more than 65 years we have been providing our guests with personalised, local experiences and insider knowledge. As we all travel more for business and leisure, the world has become smaller and never has it been more important to make an impact. We are delighted to introduce the Insider Guides and to have the opportunity to share the local knowledge we have gained.”
The South African edition of InterContinental’s Insider Guide to Travelling in Style features style advice from local influencers such as Leigh Toselli – freelance fashion and beauty editor, trend consultant, as well as travelling advice from Jeanette Mohai, InterContinental, Johannesburg O.R.
