The Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) will soon appoint a new general manager.
This follows the resignation of Lorin Bowen, who served as general manager of the association since September 2012 and will now pursue other interests in the business events industry.
Her last day in the position will be Thursday, 17 April 2014.
SAACI national chairperson Zelda Coetzee has thanked Bowen for her hard work and dedication to SAACI.ย โWe wish her well in her future endeavours.ย As an experienced industry professional, she will undoubtedly achieve great success.โ
Coetzee has reassured SAACI members, stakeholders and the business tourism industry that the transition with the appointment of a new general manager will be a smooth one.
The general manager position will be advertised soon.
