SAACI recommits to Meetings Africa for 10th anniversary | The Planner

The Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) remains committed to Meetings Africa.  In 2015, Meetings Africa celebrates its 10 anniversary. To show its support SAACI has decided to grow its pavilion to 132 square metres – allowing more members to exhibit.

CEO of SAACI Adriaan Liebetrau, said: “This year’s SAACI pavilion was a huge hit, but was only able to accommodate six conference and event forum members.  Next year’s pavilion will be able to host 26 members from both the C&E and services forum.”

SAACI looks forward to creating an innovative business meeting space for its members and will be actively promoting its 29th Congress with the theme – It’s business, It’s personal.

Preference will be given to the 2014 exhibitors and the SAACI accredited PCOs. The prices of stands range from R19 600 – R21 250, depending on the location on the pavilion. Stand sales are open on the Meetings Africa website.

We are looking forward to hosting the first joint education sessions under the CEP Africa banner on Monday afternoon with: our sister associations EXSA, IFEA and SITE. Details of the programme will be announced soon.” Liebetrau added

He concluded that if any SAACI members who would like to form part of the pre- and post-hosted buyers programme or would be able to accommodate hosted buyers in Gauteng – hey must get in touch with the SAACI head office to co-ordinate these arrangements.
