Did you know that the world’s largest diamond was found in Cullinan in South Africa?
It was 3106.75 carats.
It was cut into 105 diamonds including the Cullinan I otherwise known as the Great Star of Africa (530.2 carats), and the Cullinan II or the Lesser Star of Africa (317.4 carats.)
Both of these gems are now part of the British Crown Jewels.
