UN’s Addis Ababa Convention Centre accumulates MICE CPD credits | The Planner

Ethiopia can be justly pleased with the proactive manner in which the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) undertakes its mandate from their headquarters stationed in Addis Ababa.

Part of UNECA is a thriving convention centre which plays host to a myriad of conferences both for the governmental and private sector. The schedule of events is extensive and likely to be the envy of other convention centres within sub-Saharan Africa.

Added to the UNECA achievements is the enthusiastic manner in which the convention centre personnel are undertaking their CPD MICE Programme. Credits are being continuously accumulated proving conclusively the UN’s Addis Ababa Convention Centre’s ability to understand the convention requirements from a wide range of perspectives. Added to receiving authentic certification for gaining credits is the acknowledgement and recognition which accompanies subscriber credit achievements via an ongoing score card.

This all adds up to buyers booking the Addis Ababa Convention Centre, knowing the personnel are kept up to date with ongoing MICE information and trends which can be applied to their booking.

As a selected IBTM Africa 2015 exhibitor, the Addis Ababa Convention Centre were the recipients of an annual CPD MICE Programme subscription and are certain to reap the benefits going forward to the next IBTM Africa show.
