The sun has risen on a new era as Mabula Game Lodge launches the fresh new Mabula Game Lodge brand.
Located in the scenic Waterberg region of Limpopo, Mabula Game Lodge is one of Africa’s premier game lodges, home to the Big 5 and a vast range of fauna and flora.
This exquisite epitome of nature has recently completed an extensive upgrade to branding and a number of refurbishments to the lodge itself.Looking specifically at the logo, the refresh maintained the very iconic 2 gazing lions set against the African sun, but included a more refined outline, modernized background sun and an improved typeface. According to leading creative Andrew Howard who led the rebranding exercise, “the refinements to the logo and other brand elements was a critical part of redefining the Mabula Game Lodge brand as a fresh, unique and most importantly: a natural story waiting to be unlocked”.
Along with the brand revamp, Mabula Game Lodge has undergone an 18 month refurbishment project to the luxurious rooms. The refurbishment included working alongside renowned interior decorator Esley Georgiou, to create a fresh new contemporary and chic African look, adding luxury white linen, new furniture, blinds, new tiles, and basins and fittings to the bathrooms. During the refurbishment significant effort was placed in crafting a spectacular new entrance to the reception area, creating a sensuous arrival experience.
The pathway leading to the renewed reception areas includes newly laid paving bricks, while the repainted lodge has a softer sand tone to enhance the ambience of the natural experience awaiting guests. An equally successful upgrade was applied to all conference areas and venues. Ensuring guests leave Mabula Game Lodge with an everlasting memory, the lodge has established an exclusive gift store with a range of items capturing the African experience.
