The City Lodge Hotels group, which is synonymous with providing amazing experiences at prices that suit every budget, have recently made a number of key staff appointments.
Nkosenhle Ngongoma
At the endΒ of 2023, Nkosenhle Ngongoma took up the role of Divisional Director: IT. He began his career as a systems developer and through his voracious appetite for self-improvement and knowledge gain, Nkosenhle has pursued a dynamic career within the IT environment. To his new role, he brings his experience across several industries.
Vusumuzi (Vusi) Zikalala
Another new member of the IT department is Vusumuzi Zikalala. His new role is that of Information Systems Manager and Vusi leads the IT Applications Support and Maintenance team which is responsible for implementing and maintaining business technology solutions.
Rene Louw
Rene Louw, who was born and grew up in Namibia has been appointed to the position of General Manager of Town Lodge Windhoek. His career in hospitality spans 25 years and during this time he has gained extensive experience in hotel and business management. Rene also has extensive experience in food and beverage.
Tsholofelo Mashiane
Tsholofelo Mashiane takes up the role of General Manager of Road Lodge Potchefstroom from 1 March 2024. She joined City Lodge Hotels in 2018 as an Accelerated Development and Deployment Programme (ADDP) management development candidate and was a City Lodge Hotels/University of Johannesburg bursary student top achiever.
Volente McKay
Volente McKay joins City Lodge Hotels as Senior Sales Executive who focuses on the Western Cape region. She has a veritable treasure trove of experience in the industry and In her new position, Volente will oversee the groupβs Western Cape Government, corporate clients, and travel agents based in Cape Town.
