With Easter around the corner and the super long weekend to look forward to, Groote Post invites you to the Darling Hills for their March Country Market which is taking place on Easter Sunday 27 March from 10am to 3pm.

Visitors can expect delectable and beautiful country offerings including artisan foods, arts and crafts, as well as homeware and décor. And of course, Groote Post’s well-loved wines will be available for tasting and purchase, including the delicious Groote Post Rosé which is made exclusively for their monthly markets.
Local, of course, is lekker in Darling with locals presenting a divine selection of gourmet produce including breads, cheese, mushrooms, charcuterie, wors, sauces, olive oils and more. And a big hit as always will be the popular craft beers from Darling Brew.
As always the market will present a perfect playground for children who will love the rolling lawns, tractor rides and face painting, to name a few of the activities that will be available. And, as a special treat for Easter, the Groote Post Market team will be handing out Easter eggs to all the kids.
After browsing through the market, visitors can relax in the shade under the trees while tucking into their delicious eats from the market and enjoying music played by a local DJ. Groote Post’s award-winning restaurant, Hilda’s Kitchen, will be open as usual, but please note that booking is essential.
Although pets are most welcome – all dogs must be on a leash at all times. Visitors arriving without their dogs on a leash will be given an option to buy one from the SPCA stall or hire one at the information stall.
The Groote Post Country Markets take place on the last Sunday of every month between 10am and 3pm and the last market for the season will take place on 24 April.
The markets are closed over winter and start again in August.
