One of the biggest draw cards for visitors to last year’s Markex show was the focus on content and information sharing, brought to attendees via the event’s then newly introduced free seminar theatre – where attendees were invited to listen to some of the industry’s foremost experts discuss the latest in sector trends.
“We’re happy to announce that, for Markex 2016, not only is this feature making a comeback, but it’s even more topical and relevant for companies operating within today’s tough economic climate,” explains Joshua Low, event director for the Markex show at event organiser, Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery.
Business focused topics will include presentations on growth strategies for resellers and entrepreneurs to overcome difficult market conditions, tips to run a strong, lasting small business, marketing into Africa, how to “go green” within the promotional products industry, and how to become a more efficient seller.
“We’ve also brought together the brightest marketing minds to help take you through the hottest trends for the year, find out how to demystify the millennial generation, look at the changing marketing mix, and discover why social media is a must – there really is something for everyone,” adds Low.
Markex 2016 is running from 6 to 7 July at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, and is aimed specifically at resellers of promotional products and their corporate buyers.
Corporate visitors can pre-register online before the show to ensure free entry, by visiting www.markex.co.za. Alternatively, those that register at the event will be given the option of providing a business card or paying a nominal entrance fee of R50.
Entrance to the trade section of the show is by invitation only, please contact Resellers Association of Corporate Gifts & Clothing (ROSA) for more details.. Please note that there will be a R50 entrance fee for all resellers accessing the trade-only section of the show.
