Get your holiday off to a great start at Montecasino’s Easter Celebrazione, which has an exciting line-up of fun and fabulous activities from 30 March to 2 April. It’s a playground for everyone – families, friends, couples and groups. Plan your days at Montecasino so you don’t miss out on any of it.
The Celebrazione fun happens from 10am on Friday 30 March through to 8pm on Monday 2 April.
The Piazza and Grassy Park areas will be transformed into a four-day playground with:
- Five massive inflatables – for jumping fun for adults and children
- Bungee Experience
- Nerf Zone – for kids of all ages
- Jumping castle for little kids
- Ice cream bicycles, roaming snack vendors, and a Sally Williams tuk-tuk
- Mascots – Oros Man, Liquorice Man, Jelly Tots Man – and a balloon sculptor, who will add to the fun
- The Easter Bunny, who will hand out Easter eggs on Easter Sunday
- A fee of R50 per person will provide access to the activities on the Piazza and Grassy Park.
Funky Fego Caffe will sell smoothies and fruit crushes and Col’Cacchio will have pizza making for kids; and roaming entertainers, balloon sculptors, face painters, and a caricature artist will add to the festivities.
On 1 April, Easter Sunday, Montecasino Bird Gardens will feature two Treasure Hunts for 200 children each – at 11:30am and 13:30pm. Beacon Sweets and the Easter Bunny will give out sweets and Easter eggs to the kids on the hunt. Normal Bird Gardens entry rates apply for the events.
Movies@Montecasino’s holiday line-up from 30 March includes Ready Player One, Peter Rabbit, Winchester, Tyler Perry’s Acrimony, and The Leisure Seeker.
On 31 March the world’s most popular musical, The Sound of Music, opens at the Teatro.
Throughout the weekend, live bands will perform near the Beira Alta, Donatella’s, and Verdicchio restaurants and on the promotional stage next to Casa Bella.
Chocolate Easter bunnies will be handed out to VIP guests in the Privé.
On the gaming floor, the La Dolce Vita cash draw will take place on 29 March and the La Dolce Vita car draw on 31 March.
