Like many businesses, Khoja Group found itself in a difficult position during the lockdown.
“As we are a non-essential service provider, Khoja Group was closed on full lockdown for two months and had no source of income at all. Personal funds had to be utilised to stay afloat,” says Webster Mathe, vice president of operations for the group.

After a complete shutdown, business at Khoja Group is slowly starting to pick up as regulations ease.
Khoja Group is currently adapting to the new norm and servicing virtual awards ceremonies will be the next natural step in its evolution.
“We are not out up of the woods yet but we are confident that the aftereffects of COVID-19 will be short-lived and in no time, events and awards will be back in full swing to cater for the social interaction we are so starved of,” comments Mathe.
