The East London International Convention Centre (ELICC) will be the hive of boxing entertainment on Friday, 18 July 2014.
The tournament will comprise of four world title bouts. This is the first ever event where four world title bouts will be held on one night in the Eastern Cape at one event. The main bout will be the battle for the vacant IBO featherweight crown against Mdantsane boxers Macbute Sinyabi and Lusanda Komanisi.
This historic event is in remembrance of Nelson Mandela as a boxer and is sure to attract many dignitaries nationwide which include the possible attendance of Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa.
The ELICC are delighted to be part of this historic occasion and are pleased that the Convention Centre does not only bring conference and incentive travel to East London but also significantly offers state-of-the-art facilities to host such a momentous event.
