Be it year-end appreciations, wrap-up sales achievements, final training courses or well-deserved awards, the MICE trade are increasingly frustrated with the lack of early decision-making as client’s hesitate with investigating the best and cheapest quotes which offer a staggering range of add-ons.
There can be a high price to pay if effective checks are not carried-out as to the actual abilities of sub-contractors and their track-records. Whether one is selecting a: caterer, venue, décor, audio visual, travel, incentive programme and the like– it is the prudent corporate that takes time to find out why the quote is so much lower than the established charge structures.
Unless the client has serious re-course built-into the agreement – the MICE undertaking can prove more expensive than anticipated in the first place.
