SA’s top speakers at Markex 2015 | The Planner

The Unique Speaker Bureau (USB) has confirmed that it will once again be showcasing the best of South Africa’s local speaker talent, as well as a number of new up and coming speakers, at the upcoming Markex 2015 expo.

In addition to the open sessions that will be be hosted from 13:00 to 15:00 on each of the show’s three days, exclusive invitation only VIP sessions will be run in the mornings from 07:30 to 12:30. Presentations have also been streamed to ensure that each day’s sessions have a powerful, targeted focus.

Day one’s speakers all fall within the business and leadership category, including highly regarded business strategist Michael Jackson, Ryan Hogarth, one of the Mail & Guardian’s Top 200 young South Africans Kali Ilunga, Southern African Speaker Hall of Fame inductee Justin Cohen, and business strategy whiz Vusi Thembekwayo.

Day two’s speakers will deliver hope and inspiration to listeners, featuring successful entrepreneurs who have overcome the seemingly impossible in order to build their businesses. Lee Swan, South African businesswoman and extreme adventurer; world-renowned mountaineer, Sean Disney; mentalist, Gilan Gork; and Miles Kubheka will all take to the stage to share their stories.

On the third and final day of Markex 2015, the USB Showcase looks at how to help businesses “make their mark” through self-branding. Debora Patta will be joined by top calibre branding experts including talent management specialist, Natalie Singer and Kate Moodley, who was nominated as one of Africa’s most influential women in business and government for 2014.

“The USB Showcase is a key feature of the Markex show and proves to be a major draw card for our visitors,

“This year’s event will feature some of South Africa’s more sought after speakers, providing attendees with valuable business insight,” says Joshua Low, event director from Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery.

Markex 2015 is set to take place from 2 to 4 June 2015 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
