The Johannesburg Expo Centre (JEC) has driven many community social investment initiatives at Inkwenkwezi Primary School over the past five years. The school is situated in Zone 6, Diepkloof and there are approximately 800 learners. The JEC has recently donated 280 blankets to the school as part of a winter drive.
To commemorate Nelson Mandela Day, the JEC is embarking on a project to revamp Inkwenkwezi Primary School. The project will consist of fixing all of the broken windows and painting all of the classrooms at the school. General maintenance will be done around the school and a vegetable garden will also be planted.
The Johannesburg Expo Centre welcomes anyone who is willing to be a part of this great initiative to revamp Inkwenkwezi Primary School. Participation can be financial or physical. The revamping of the school will take place from 15-17 July 2015 between 9:00 to 16:00 at the school.
