As part of the multi-million rand upgrade, Sun City welcomes the opening of a new Spur at its recently-refurbished Sun Vacation Club. The 297-seater family-style restaurant officially opened on 1 September 2015.
Spur prides itself on being a restaurant for the whole family, catering for the needs of parents and kids. One of the features of the Spur at the Sun City Vacation Club is a play area featuring play modulars and plenty of kids’ entertainment. The menu will include familiar Spur favourites including legendary steaks, ribs and burgers, as well as Spur’s famous Cheddamelt schnitzels, delicious desserts and special kids’ meals. Their weekday specials will offer fantastic value-for-money deals, such as the longstanding Buy one get one free Burger Mondays.
Managing executive Mike van Vuuren touts Spur as a great fit within the Vacation Club’s laid-back, family-style, value-for-money offering.
The spectacular facilities at the Sun Vacation Club include three swimming pools of which two are solar-heated; children’s jungle gyms; a shop; a walkway to the Valley of the Waves; mini golf; a putting green and a Magic Company.
The upgraded units boast a modern, fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area, comfortable lounge, LED TV, DSTV, Wi-Fi access, a full bathroom with walk-in shower, air conditioned bedrooms, and a patio with a Jetmaster braai.
